Malcolm Xavier wanted to do something to celebrate Juneteenth, so he decided to recreate one of his icon art pieces, Pablo Hov. Malcolm wanted to bring the piece back to life for 2022, but this time with recoloring Pablo Hov around the African flag colors Red yellow and green. This is the first release of a different version of Pablo Hov print.

This artwork is inspired by my love of Pablo Picasso's work and Jay-Z. Two of my favorite artists of all time. In recreating the Jay-Z photo in his baby blue suit at the Roc Nation Brunch in 2019, The gold teeth and smile is a representation of the pain and struggles we can overcome with determination and strength. Malcolm said at his solo show in 2021
